Kerry’s interest in counselling is to support people through challenging times of transition and change when they are seeking to find greater clarity and direction in their lives.
Kerry has had many years experience in high schools as a teacher and counsellor working with disengaged young people. He has also worked with men’s support groups and indigenous boys programs over the years.
Kerry also has a strong interest and experience in expressive art and spirituality. He has been trained in Narrative and Solution Focused therapies, and also likes to incorporate mindfulness and other therapeutic approaches in his work. He has a particular interest and experience in stress management, mindful living, parenting, youth at risk, and exploring life journeys.
Kerry has a Masters Degree in Counselling from QUT in Brisbane.
