The Transpersonal approach is especially suited to people for whom spirituality is an important aspect of their lives.

Transpersonal Therapy is a holistic approach which values the entire person (not just abnormal or normal functioning). Talking, thinking, meaning-making, feeling, expressing emotions, and creating strategies can all be a part of the transpersonal process.

It is concerned less with making you ‘normal’, and more with developing your fullest potential as a human being. Crisis, illness and difficulty are placed within a larger context of growth.

Our troubles and trials are an integral part of the process of becoming, not merely symptoms we need to remove in order to return to our lives as they were before.

Once we can move through a particular phase of our healing journey, we become more awake, alive and whole than we were before our troubles came along. To support and facilitate this process is the primary intention of transpersonal therapy.
